Gang Hye Jeong (강혜정) -- of Oldboy and Welcome to Dolmagol fame -- is a terrific actress. And even though she has an equine face, she possesses an indefinable kind of beauty.
Make that possessed. It appears the lure of cosmetic surgery has claimed another victim, this time one of Korea's most promising young actresses. Below are before and after photos. Actually, the second photo doesn't show just how drastically Ms. Gang's features have been altered. I saw her on TV this morning and she looks like a completely different person. In a bad way.
Some things are more beautiful because of their flaws. The Venus de Milo comes to mind.

The more pathetic thing is that she claims that it's simply because she lost weight over the few months...
She probably cried herself after seeing the result of plastic surgery. Wacko Jacko would be proud.
No no.. she never said that, you must be confused with another person. What she said (and I think I can believe that) was she got straightened her teeth (is it orthodontic operation?).
She had pouting mouth, it was because of her teeth was not straight. She did straighten that. Unfortunately, that mouth was one of her charm. Really sad decision she made.

It looks like the surgeon stretched her upper lip, basically thinning it out right underneath her nose.
As an orthodontist, I can tell this has nothing to do with braces "straightening" her teeth out. "oh'boy!"
